Hood Aerodrome Open Day 2026

 Today Hood Aerodrome by Masterton held its annual open day and what a beautiful day it was today, blue sky with next to no wind.

There was a fair few aircraft on display with a few visitors dropping in also.

A disused balloon, appears at airshows and events in New Zealand for kids to have a play in.

Next Sunday is the Waipukurau Dawn Raid, hoping for good weather for this event!
