A very neat day today of seeing a nice range of aircraft.

The first stop was being Dannevirke where the NZ AutoGyro Association were holding their annual Gyrocopter AGM and fly-in.

My first new ZK- aircraft for the year, nice to see a Bensen Gyro!

As part of the Gyrocopter fly-in, on Sunday they head down to Athby's strip near Woodville for lunch. Sadly Athby no longer has an aircraft, so there were only visiting aircraft there. This is what i saw:

A very nice day today, glad to have visited a few airfields.

Wanganui Aero Club Open Day

 The annual Wanganui Aero Club open day was upon us again and the forecast was not looking great, but headed up anyway and was glad I did as it was cloudy at first but turned into a beautiful and hot day.

Another first timer to the fly-in scene, looks like it's going to be a regular!

One that has recently moved to Dannevirke, nice to see it's still kept flying!

Paraparaumu AOPA Fly-In

Well this was something different, a fly-in literally down the road from my home, so of course I had to take advantage of that.

Coromandel Weekend trip #2
