An absolute stunner of a day today gave the perfect excuse to go out for a drive down to Wellington to have a look at the USAF C-37A parked up, plus to do some aircraft spotting.

Then about midday I drove back home and decided to make the most of the good weather at Kapiti by watching the movements there and a number of visitors were present:

| A nice surprise, RNZAF Beech T-6 Texan NZ1411 came for a quick Touch and Go. |

| Wellington Aero Club's Piper PA-28 ZK-KAT in for maintenance after arriving Wellington. |

| Canterbury Aero Club's Piper PA-28 ZK-LJF parked up at Kapiti after arriving from Christchurch, departing back there later. |

| Cessna 208 ZK-EAV parked up, this arrived from Omaka back on 29th July. |
