A visit out to Kapiti Airport this afternoon, turned in to quite the eventful afternoon with a few things happening, here are the pics I got anywhere:
Yakovlev Yak-52 ZK-YRA popping in for fuel on delivery up to New Plymouth from Rangiora |
Sunair Aviation's Piper PA-23 ZK-DIR departing back to Tauranga (more on this movement down below) |
Cessna R182 ZK-LAB parked up after arriving from Ardmore earlier that day.
The reason for the Piper PA-23 visitor (That is all assumption) seems to be to have a look at the resident Aztecs that have been in hiding for many years (ZK-DIO and ZK-TCL (Which is now kept outside)). Could possibly be meaning that this 2 could be doing something at long last, although ZK-DIO looked quite run down. Time will tell!
