Northland Trip Part 3

 Another beautiful day up in the Northland meant I had another good day of spotting at various Airfields up the top.

First stop was a quick look at Whangarei again, only changes were a couple more locals showing themselves:

Next stop was Dargaville for their famous Lunch Fly-In they do every Saturday, quite nice to see a number of aircraft show up for it, even if the food was BYO. Also very nice to see the Pitbull Gyro fly for the first time in 18 months! Here is everything I saw:

Next stop was over to Kaikohe, not much around, but did spy 2 aircraft in their hangar

Then down the road I came across the Campbell Copters Helipad and got to see a few choppers in the hangar:

Lastly managed to sight Sikorsky S.76A ZK-IAL out on the apron at the Kensington Park Rescue Base in Whangarei.

Tomorrow being the plan of heading back down to Ardmore, then across to Thames and then spend the night at Tauranga.
