Mosquito Open Day at Omaka

 Today at Omaka there was a Mosquito Open day. People from around New Zealand came to watch John Smith's old De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito spin its props in public view for the first time in over 60 years and this happened 3 times during the day, there was also various warbirds on display and did some aerial displays also.

Firstly though, had to get there, so hopped in Piper PA-28 ZK-MWM at Kapiti and got airborne about 9am, flight was really good both ways, a bit bumpy at times, but have been through worse.
