An early start to get up to Taumarunui this morning, to go attend the annual Tiger Moth Spring Fly-In, held there this time every year.
An overcast day all the way up, but high cloud as could clearly see the mountains with heaps of snow.
A very fun day out and lots of aircraft to see and of course the guest star of the Tiger Moth with 10 showing up!

Tomorrow, I continue my trip up to Auckland where i'll be for the night. Having a look at Te Kuiti, Te Kowhai and Ardmore airfields along the way.
Nice trip. Ya can scrub EEF destroyed Sat EFATO Brian (New owner) is okay minor injuries. Got back to 27 but at 60ft hand grip came off no time to do anything bang. They had no grub screws in them who knew.
