South Island Trip #1

 So begins today the week and a half long road trip round the south island i've been planning for the last couple of months.

Today was mostly just relaxing around till the ferry ride at 3pm. That went safe and sound and now spending the night in Blenheim.

But of course, this trip is purely for aviation so will be going to any aviation related events around.

First things first though are the airfields I went to today. First one being Picton. Only thing seen was the local Cessna 172 ZK-MGR outside.

The only other airfield I went to was Omaka. There is currently a Cessna 180/185 gathering happening, so was nice to see a handful of 180 and 185s from around the country parked up.

Tomorrow the plan is to just hang around the Blenheim area and see what decides to come in for Healthy Bastards which is being held on Saturday,
