What a great number for a fly-in! Here is highlights from the day:

A long way from home, one of 4 aircraft from the deep south.

One of the other 4 from deep south.

3rd aircraft from deep south,

Very nice to see outside a go for a flight!

The last aircraft from deep south.

Nice to capture this one at last in its nice new scheme.

One that has evaded me for years, finally got a photo of it!

First time I have seen this outside let alone at another field!

Got to always take a photo of Ron Day's Chipmunk.

Whilst waiting for the aircraft to come in, I managed to catch up with Ron Day who showed me through his other hangar to once again view his vast collection of aircraft. He told me since it's such a nice day, if I hung around till the visitors had departed and it had gone quiet, he'd take me up for a flight in the Chipmunk. Of course I hung around for that!

So, once it died down, I found Ron again and up we went for about 10 minutes, but that was quite specular and I really enjoyed it.

So all in all, it was a great day and I look forward to the next major fly-in with weather like this!
