Air Chathams DC-3 comes to play

Highly anticipated weekend of vintage flights has arrived at Kapiti. Air Chatham's DC-3 every year around mid January comes in for a weekend of vintage flights over Kapiti Island and so far every time all flight have been booked, hoping for a repeat this year!

So knowing it was this weekend, I did a stop on my way home from work and got a lovely dusk shot of her parked up ahead of her many flights tomorrow and Sunday.

Hopefully I'll be going out to get more pictures on Sunday of this event!
